Adlai Galia is a story written for my writing class however, I will also be sharing this on here for feedback, and for those who want to read a new short story.

Adlai Galia is a story set in the Mesopotamia time during 642 BC - 562 BC with the life of Asa'u Lehim, and Jakob-Bahktun, which is set in the Babylonian Empire. 

When Asa'u, travelling back to his master's house after a week's journey in acquiring produce from the market place in Kish, meets a stranger who would soon change his life. And this stranger named Jakob proposed unto him because he loved his beauty which was famed throughout the lands. When taking him back to where he was headed, Babylon, the city where he lived in, comes a tragic story between these two lovers ultimately ending in tragedy.

Written in the approach of the old English literature found in the King James Bible, biblically influenced, and biblically inspired.All Rights Reserved

"Its been one year and eight months since, and now all of a sudden you bring her up, why now? Out of all days?" I ask Jake sincerely. "I can see the act your putting up in front of everyone. The recklessness and all. You can get away with all of that with everyone else, but you can't fool me Bil," Jake tells me concerningly. "Why does it matter? I moved on, I have Drew. I'm not stuck on her anymore. Clearly - I've proven that by now," I say to Jake. "Do you mean that sincerely?" Jake asks me. I huff before looking back at Jake. "Yes. I do," I say to him truthfully. "Alright well. Finneas decided that it was best that I'd break the news to you," Jake says before sitting up in his seat. I look at him with my eyebrows furrowed, and suddenly a deep trench of anxiety forms in the pit of my stomach. "What is it?" I ask him. He hesitates before speaking. "Lilith is coming back to LA to work on the stage crew," Jake says. My eyes slightly widen. Fuck. ~~~ A year has gone by and now Lilith is back. Although a reunion is coming up, a year can change a person drastically, and as they say, change is inevitable. Will Lilith be able to reconnect with Billie? Or is it seemingly hopeless? Will Lilith finally remember Billie? Or did change form Lilith into a completely different person? ~~~ (This is the Second Book to the first book called 'Sweet Belladonna'. I highly recommend you go back to read the first one before continuing on reading this one, or else you'll be majorly confused.) ~~~ AU (Alternate Universe); Though some characters are real, this is fiction. Sanyukta Agarwal- from a conservative family, her father has decided to get her engaged to Sameer Mittal, an arrogant young man who wants to control her life Sameer Mittal - one of the hurdles in Sanyukta's life, he comes from a backwards thinking family, women are beneath men in his family Randhir Singh Shekhawat- one of Vardhan's proteges, he and Sanyukta share a love-hate relationship, later their bond changes but for better or worse only time will tell Katauski and Jiggy will make appearances not sure how much of a role they will play, Vidhushi , Parth and YoYo may also be in this story Concept: Sanyukta feels trapped, she has dreams to become independent and an engineer, she wants to marry someday, but wants the guy to treat her with respect, she decides to take a drastic step, the future is unknown to her but just maybe she has no other choice then to free herself from the bonds that bind her from living her life.
