In this story, we follow Miguel, a 24-year-old gay guy who's trying to leave his past behind. When his car decides to give up the ghost, he heads over to a local car repair shop. There, he bumps into Ryder, a good-looking mechanic who kind of looks like his first crush and the guy who broke his heart. Ryder and Miguel hit it off as friends, but things start to get more complicated when Miguel's past comes back into view and his first crush shows up again. This puts his new relationship to the test, making Miguel fight for his happiness.
