Ava, your not-so-typical highschool teenager. A girl with imperfections and flaws, second-best at her baseball club and second-last on her class rank. She consists of surprises and to bust them out, all it takes is just luck, beginner's luck.

Damian, so-called "perfect" human with great anatomy. Cocky fused with gentleman, a great mix. He's a one-woman popular guy with girls worshipping on the ground he walked on. Girls would beg on their knees just to taste a piece of him.

***

"I wouldn't do that if I were you, love"

"Oh, yeah? Why?"

"Baby, it's too dangerous to ask him out."

"Well, I'm going for it anyways. You're no better than him, and please for the love of chicken nuggets, don't call me that."

"Sweetheart, what if he doesn't feel the same way as you? What will happen next? The right person for you is already right here. Me."

"I said stop calling me- what did you just say?"

I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." My heart beats skyrocketed, because this was the moment everything changed forever. "Saw what?" Asked Axel. I took a deep breath, and continued.
