My chest was going up and down in a violent movement. My heart was beating so hard that I thought my ribs might break. I couldn't breathe. I really couldn't breathe. Panic growing inside me, like a balloon threatening to suddenly explode, tears started running down my sweaty cheeks. A lump was growing in my throat, making it even harder to catch my breath. I didn't even know where I was, just that I had collapsed in the middle of a step. Shaking, I tried to stand up, but fell back to the ground again as my legs were shaking so bad. "Hello? Abby is that you?" I suddenly heard a voice say. It sounded distant and I didn't recognize it, but when I looked up towards the road I saw Otis standing there. "Otis" I croaked through my sobs. "Otis please help".
When Abigails mother gets a job in Moordale, Abigail starts at Moordale highschool where she meets Otis during her first biology class. They are told to work as a pair for a project, and slowly they get to know each other. Otis realize that he really likes Abigail, but also that she has serious problems and needs help.
