New Orleans, 189x. Wolf shapeshifter and Pinkerton agent Alfred Taylor arrives in town, trying to leave the tragic events of his past behind. Just after his arrival he is commissioned to solve the case of a murdered prostitute. He begins investigating despite any real belief in a criminal case. However, as more people get murdered, he soon finds himself trapped in a net of sex and violence, causing him to fall in love (once again) and coming close to losing his mind. His dark past suddenly becomes a threat to someone else than just himself...
