Aera was a troubled teen who never knew how to make friends or get along with anyone. She had her fair share of being bullied and picked on, but she struggled to keep a sunny disposition for the sake of her younger brother, who was the only friend she ever had. When they moved to a new town, she knew it's just the same as any town they've lived in, and she only had to keep a low profile and stay away from trouble. But being the new kid in school meant there will be trouble around every corner. Luckily for her, her overly kind classmate Michael chooses to save her every time and decides to be her friend. But Aera had a hard time comprehending kindness because the idea of someone treating her decently seemed new to her and she could never try to wrap her head around it. She tried to avoid any form of affection. Now she wants to be gone as soon as possible, to get away, to leave and never come back. Or maybe she didn't really want to disappear---maybe all she really wanted is to be found.
