Mattia Polibio is a part time employee at the city's mental hospital. He has an amazing life, a wonderful family, and an empty space in his heart for love. 

Natalia Remmings is a depressed teenager. She has committed unspeakable crimes, broke out of juvenile prison, overdosed multiple times, and just doesn't want to live anymore. 

One day, police officers find Natalia on the side of an overpass threatening to jump. They take her into the mental hospital as a last attempt at saving her life. There she meets, what one would call, a perfect boy.
