Carmen Hayes is an emergency nurse working the grueling night shifts at Gotham Central Hospital, but tonight will be her last shift as she embarks on a career as a medic at Arkham Asylum.
Her new role at Arkahm will test her knowledge, skills, self-confidence and, above all, compassion as she is brought face to face with the worst rogues Gotham has to offer. But as the days tumble into weeks, Carmen soon finds herself empathising more with the villains of Gotham City than she ever thought possible. Especially one Master Of Fear, Jonathan Crane.
