Jacob Maier looks hot on paper: An award-winning musician with famous friends and even more famous exes, he's both a tabloid favorite and a cautionary tale. The word in Hollywood is: if you're a female star on the rise, don't touch him with a ten-foot pole. YouTuber Alexis "Al" Hunter has heard her agent's warning and brushed it aside. She isn't even in the market for romance after her first and only relationship went up in flames. When a work project goes sideways and her best friend stands her up at a local dive bar, Al is ready to call it a night. But just as she's about to leave, a guy walks in who has the women at the bar swooning like he's the protagonist in a steamy cologne commercial. And Al can't help but watch! Until he takes a seat at her table... -------- GRAVITY (named after the John Mayer song since he accidentally inspired this story too) is a romcom I made up in 2019 to cope with insomnia. I wasn't planning on ever writing it down but the story came back to me when I had a severe case of insomnia thanks to the 2020 Covid lockdown. Unlike the majority of my books, which are largely inspired by my own life, this story pays homage to my favorite celebrities, the digital age, and pop culture. I should be too old to get excited about stories like this, but some of us never grow old, so this one's for the eternally young. ;p Hope you enjoy!

Judalia

Adalia has always known she was on the curvy side when it came to her body. There was no hiding it. And at 26 years old being plus size she figured finding someone to love wasn't going to be something she planned in her life. Usually when she caught a man's attention it was because he believed she was easy or for a fun time. But Adalia didn't want her body used for only enjoyment to a man. She always told herself she wanted something serious, not just a quickie. She believed eventually she'd find someone and she had plenty of time to find love. Maybe she was just a late bloomer. Instead of focusing on her love life she chose to prioritize her family. Juan thought his last relationship was going to be the one. After 13 years of knowing each other and 11 years of being together, he was engaged to whom he thought was the love of his life. His fiance, Emily had other plans since she'd fallen out of love with him. She had instead found more interest in a co-worker breaking Juan's heart and leaving him. 2 years have passed since Juan's heart had been broken and he'd lost hope in love. He had gotten a bit better from his broken heart over time. Now 30 years old he was ready for a change. He packed up; along with Charlie his dog, and sold or gave away what he couldn't take. He moved back to the little town of Luxorville where everyone knows everyone; with his mother. It had been a while since Juan had been back home. He noticed there were a few new families that had moved into town over the years. Someone new specifically though that caught his attention was a short woman he saw across the street unloading groceries from her car. Adalia and Juan are bound to cross paths given that they are now neighbors. The only question is are they willing to give themselves a chance in love? *This story is mostly in English.
