Twitch sees the world through cracked, smoke-stained glasses. And why wouldn't she? Her life is a nightmare for most. She runs errands for Mother, tries to stay out of the spotlight in The Fallen, a notorious gang known for off-market gun deals, but somehow manages to change all that in just minutes.

Jake had the world in the palm of his hands. He had the best looking girl in school, scouts sent letters and emails daily begging him to join their team. He had a great family, better friends, and one final game to secure a spot on his dream college football team. One late night drive with his dad changed everything.

It took only minutes, but the accident changed both their lives, sending them spiraling farther than either thought they could go. Twitch does what she can to survive, but running into Jake brings back painful memories she had for so long hidden. Jake finds comfort in bottles he never thought he'd turn to. They run into each other, unable to stay together, unable to stay apart.

Here everyone falls, it's just a matter of how far.

"Game over...thank you for playing." I whispered softly as his forehead rested on mine gently. "But maybe I want to play more...maybe the next level is still undefeated." He said with a tone that meant he wasn't done. Love is just a word until someone comes up and gives it a definition. Maybe Alex is my definition. Maybe I’ve waited long enough; maybe he’s the one I’ve been searching for. But… We're all in the same game; just different levels. {Sequel to Let's Play a Game}
