Drones. Drones are always watching; waiting for a wrong move, waiting for a perfect excuse to shoot you down from the sky. 16-year-old Soren has lived her entire life in Tier 4, the poorest and most disgruntled Tier of the Ridge. Their government, the KSU knows, of course- that's why they allow it to happen. After all, we can't all be rich. When the opportunity comes for Soren to move up to a higher Tier, she takes it. But there is an evil twist to the game the KSU plays. With every chance of moving up, there is a greater possibility of moving down- to dispensation. A community where people go in- and no one ever comes out.
