    Ava Gilbert has left Mystic Falls after the death of her twin brother Jeremy and her older sister Elena burning her house down. She moves into a average sized house in the small town of Beacon Hills to start fresh and supernatural-free, at the request of Caroline of course. 
    
    Despite Ava knowing it's 'for the best', she still yearns to have a little supernatural spice in her life. So once she realises there is a supernatural presence in the town, she takes it upon herself to protect her and her friends thanks to the hunter training that she did with her brother. 
    
    Although what Ava didn't realise is that the supernatural in Beacon Hills are 𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 different to the ones back home.
