Radioactive

In the year 2020 the world ended. It's 163 years later. Most of the English population died in the nuclear fallout, a handful survived, diseased and mutated, and a few went underground, into the the few vaults throughout the country. Each vault is ran like its own society depending on the founders. This story follows a young girl called Elle who is raised by a radical christian cult in the Vault of God. She is different, not like the other people in the vault, and she sometimes feels like an alien amongst the others there. A schizophrenic boy named Leon steals a contraband book called 'Psychology for beginners' and Elle discovers that the word for people like her is 'Sociopath'. The unlikely pair decide that they need to leave the vault, even if they die as soon as they emerge, because it's better than dying in the depths of the vault, like so many others.
