Once there was another world just like Earth. Another dimension where animals roamed and history developed as time went by. Harmony ruled the lands, and everyone was happy. However, years ago, the peace between animals and people shattered, and the humans of that dimension were no longer safe. Beautiful, magnificent animals mutated into terrifying, blood-thirsty beasts, and they slaughtered anything that got in their way. As they watched their world crumble, the Gods desperately summoned humans, or warriors, from Earth to save them. So far, every warrior's journey ended in death.
Maya Chang was a sixteen-year-old struggling in calculus before she found out that she was one of them. Confused and afraid, she had no choice but to accept the help of Aiden Shay, who was also chosen, but seemed to be more experienced in battling than he should be. Together, they survive through countless battles while uncovering the dark truth to how this catastrophe came to be.
