Her music drew him in. He couldn't help but to think that the melody she made, seemed sad, and lonely, as she played in that music room all by herself.
She tried to erase all of that loneliness she felt through her music. Playing everyday to distract herself. But who knew that her music would lead to something special with him, after an accidental listening to.
Takahashi Koemi, was a music prodigy, with a bad case of stage fright. People in general scared her, and she had always had trouble making friends, and even talking to people. She was a shy girl, who really hated large crowds. She wasn't even comfortable to share her love of music with people who weren't her parents.
Her first friend she got was Komori Motoya, and they hadn't even become friends until middle school. Before that, she just avoided interaction with her peers, unless they spoke to her first. But she could never bring herself to tell him much about her, and especially not able to tell her friend about her love for music. She was just scared of being judged.
To everyone, she seemed almost like an empty shell, only able to express emotions, but having no interests or goals. But she did have interests and goals, she just didn't share them.
But after a chance encounter with Sakusa Kiyoomi, her life begins to change for the better.
A/N: I do not own any of the Haikyuu Characters, nor the story I put in here.
[Complete; 200k+ words] One way or another, the Makoshima children have been dogged by misfortune ever since the beginning. Different people cope in different ways, and the Makoshima siblings are no exception. One expressed his emotions through violence and found himself the victim of the same violence he gave to others. Another attempts to seal her emotion deep within herself to attain the necessary skills to survive and protect. And, for most of her life, the music of worry was her only familiar for the third.
You can't keep running away from the past.
Because, in the end, it'll catch up to you, push you down, and, if gruesome enough, eventually kill you.
On the flip side, we have Oikawa Tooru. Perfect family, perfect friends, and at the peak of his high school career. But not even the Prince of Aobajosai is without his flaws.
Who says you can't inadvertently become an honorary member of your kindergarten bully's family while trying to get petty revenge on the same kindergarten bully? Oikawa Tooru certainly can after all.
Do give this story a try. I swear, I tried to make it a refreshing and original take on the OCxHaikyuu!! genre.
EDIT 2019: Oh god, I wrote this when I was 15/16 and it's still getting reads, I'm crying-
Pairing: [Oikawa/OC] [Kageyama/OC]
