The Archangel's Arch-nemesis

An angel of heaven is supposed to be pure. A beautiful being to welcome those who spent their lives well, into the paradise above. The Archangel is a cold, but elegant creature of God. A being created to serve, protect, and if necessary, destroy.

Emotions were not a part of the deal. While angels were loving and soft, archangels were made of stone, a force to be reckoned with. They were the judges of the deceased and bowed only to one supreme being. It is only when an archangel become infected with such emotions that the turmoil begins. Gluttony, lust, greed, envy, sloth, pride and worst of all? Wrath. Such emotions were creations of the devil. Love was a feeling among them.

When an archangel gains emotions they begin to think. Their thoughts tangle up in their mind - it drives them insane, clouds their judgement. Lust becomes love, love becomes obsession. *What do I want? What do I feel? Why do I feel? Why am I like this? Why do I want this? I want this. I want it. It belongs to me.*

Perhaps the signs are obvious. Perhaps they aren't. Some are born liars and others are not. Love and obsession. There is a line between them. A line which one archangel does not understand exists. After executing an observation of the humans on Earth that left him fallen for a powerful individual, Jesse found himself infected with emotion. But as all things come to an end, so did their relationship. However, for Jesse? There was no going back.
