When FitzWilliam Darcy and his sister gain their inheritance, their lives change as they now have many responsibilities and challenges to come. Within a matter of a day, they become the richest people in the land. To most it seems a life of luxury, but Mr. Darcy knows that with riches, comes responsibility.
The pressure of this new life begins to reach a breaking point. Things couldn't get more complicated as odd and troubling things happen around the Pemberely estate. Darcy is quick to realise one thing is for sure: Someone wanted his inheritance and was going to do anything to get it.

I have just finished reading Pride and Prejudice for the 100th time, and I really wanted to see how Elizabeth and Darcy handle their married life, so I decided to write my own sequel. This is just to satisfy my own wild side, I have never been to Great Britain (but I would love to!), and I know very little of the 19th century traditions. *I appreciate all the corrections I get on the culture/timeline/location/language/plotline dearly and would do my best to fix my mistakes in the story. In this modern story, Elizabeth Bennet comes from a small town in Saskatchewan, Canada. She has recently been given the opportunity to study abroad but there is a small problem. She has to deal with the prideful Mr.Darcy. Will he overcome his pride? And will she get over her own prejudice? This story is loosely based on the book. Mr.Wickam does not have a big part.
