People in the Land survived the destruction of the last world war only to have their lives disrupted again by a wayward asteroid that broke up to rain down on the planet, just as life had begun to regain a sense of normalcy. This second tragedy also disturbed the power-sharing arrangement between two leading factions that had helped rebuild the Land-the Council, and the Order-in an agreement called The Balance. The Council leadership exploited the chaos to drive the Order and its members into exile, ad they began banning the use of most modern technology, which the Council had long blamed for the war. Phoebe is the last remaining product of the Order's genetic engineering programs that still lives under Council rule. She doesn't understand why she's so different from everyone else, and struggles to survive, hiding what she is. The exiled Order members have realized she's in danger, and their leader sees a potential in her that could help them regain their place in society, and to re-establish The Balance. The Balance is Part 1 of a planned 3-part Story. The Balance was published in 2015 and is available in Hardcover, Paperback, and Kindle Editions

"But the question was, is this possible? Am I really in the story? But how? And why?" A tragedy occurred in Gauri's life and her idea of happiness and 'living life' to the fullest changed drastically. That's when she came across an old diary in the new house that she recently shifted into, to run from the memories of her past and start a new life. She felt that the story was calling out to her in weird ways because she kept going back to it, re-reading it multiple times, and feeling the heartbreak and extreme traumatic emotions all over again. Then, one day, she gets into an accident and finds herself in a world she didn't recognise, only to later realise that she may or may not have entered another world - The world she was reading about in the diary!! The world she knows because she has read it multiple times, but also the world she doesn't know because it was supposed to be fiction! Her only consolation was meeting the man she had been crying over for the past year. Would she be able to save the man from his inevitable destiny, or does she have to leave behind the man who made her feel things she didn't know were possible? The story is not edited, so if you see any grammatical mistakes, kindly ignore them. I will edit it once I complete it.
