It's been almost 98 years since the Firenation started invading everyone's land... Never did we think it would end like this. Earthbenders and such are suppressed, no one except firebenders are allowed to use their gift. In our small earth village, things are pretty stereotypical for a village overrun by firebenders, until Nakia finds an ancient secret, one that she and her best friend, Liena, could use to rid the Firenation presence in our village.
set in the ATLA universe, two years before the gaang heads on their adventure.

welp I'm pretty sure the title says it all but I'll write a cheeky description anyway just because you're looking so cute today. It's a modern world but filled with bending. The Gaang you know and love have busy lives in the big city, this is their story, how they meet there, their emotions, what relationships build and crumble. What happens when the Avatar makes an appearance? Much like my last story this book will have multiple POV's of most characters. Speaking of the characters they are all young adults, ages 22 and up. I intend to stuff in a whole lot of drama, chaos, fights, sadness and soppy romantic moments so you and I can be thoroughly entertained, I'll try my best. Avatar: the Last Airbender Fanfiction Zuko x OC Makki is the twin sister of Sokka and the older sister of Katara. She is one of the last Southern water benders, along with her sister. At the age of ten, she lost her mother in a Fire Nation raid, right at the South Pole; all she has left is her mother's necklace, which Katara wears around her neck. After that, her father left to fight in the Hundred Year War, along with all the other grown warriors, and Makki and her siblings were put under the care of their Gran Gran. She grew up practicing her bending and helping Katara with all the chores, while their brother practiced his fighting skills and tried teaching the younger boys of their village. Makki's siblings followed their destiny of helping Aang master all four elements while Makki was stuck on a path with the Fire Nation Prince Zuko and his uncle Iroh. After being betrayed by the prince, Makki joined her siblings on their journey of helping Aang. But soon enough, Zuko figures out that his destiny is to join with Aang's group and to teach him fire bending. In the beginning, Makki couldn't believe Zuko's change, but he promised himself that he would make it up to her and prove to her that he's truly changed and that he loves her.
