Jessica Alice Swift is a down-on-her-luck English major, writer and poet who gets by on odd jobs and charity from her friends. With rent, student loans and ennui creeping up on her and the wanted ads drying up, Jessica decides to take a chance on an unusual ad for an unusual-sounding shop: The Neverending Emporium. What follows afterwards is a journey through the whimsical darkness of alien worlds and oddball mercantile displays, where Jessica encounters eccentric traders, mighty minotaurs and the most alien of them all: her inner self. The first in my planned Neverending Emporium series.

Undergoing mass editing so bear with me This book is dedicated to people who are fucking SICK of slow burns In a modern world full of magic, having a rare magic type is unusual. Flora Dewberry Whitehand is one of those rare wielders. She is capable of using nature magic. At twenty-one years old and the oldest child of the Whitehand Royal Family she is due to be married. Luckily, she has a say in her future husband or wife. Worried about dealing with someone like the woman suitor her father had picked out Flora is blindsided by Kari Szakata Torvalur who is nothing like the woman from Taethia but harbors a secret family curse. This same curse blankets the Kingdom of Kroqales in eternal winter and the mountainous regions don't leave room for many airports, therefore just like Vrathia, Kroqales only has three cargo-only planes. While navigating the tensions between Kari and his Yeti-half and their budding romantic relationship they are met with a war. The agricultural kingdom of Sorith lies between Vrathia where Flora is from and Kroqales where Kari is from. The citizens and their king want nothing to do with modernization. Having enough of the pollution that this union is bringing to his kingdom the King of Sorith declares war on Vrathia with an invasion of their palace. Still forced to plan a wedding and take a limo drive for a day, around Sorith, whenever they had to go between their respective kingdoms, Kari and Flora start preparing for war. As Flora goes through intense combat training she is still required to go to dress fittings, planning meetings, and more. Blood is shed. Lives are lost. Will they ever make it to the altar?
