"Maybe our struggling was fated before even the Gods could stop it..." "Could it be that we were destined to fight?" Once whole, the continent of Maellya was split in two, both literally and figuratively. Magic is abundant and commonplace in the Southern continent, praised and welcomed. However, lurking in the second biggest kingdom on the Northern continent--Asphenia--is a benevolent king, sitting upon his stolen throne. A once-seasoned warrior gets throw into a situation she could never imagine. All of her comrades--her friends--dead, she is forced to face the wrath of the enemy. Her name is Thyria Orlin. Now a war prisoner, Thyria is sent to one of the worst places imaginable. Illyia. Once inside, Thyria discovers the atrocities hidden in the shadows of Asphenia, and learns of her heritage. Evil clings to the darkness like fungi, and Thyria does everything in her power to get rid of it. *DISCLAIMER* All rights to this story belong to me. I created this idea, along with all of the characters, places, etc. If any events or facts or information in this story match with others from another story, then it is purely a coincidence. This book contains mature themes (I'm not sure to what extent so far) including extremely graphic depictions of violence, blood, gore, and torture. This is my first serious novel, so please forgive my writing. Updates for this book will be irregular, as I do not know when I will write new chapters. This book has not been beta-read, so there may be mistakes and sentences that do not quite make sense. However, I have edited it, so there will be no spelling or grammar mistakes. Book 1 of the Shadow Caster series.

|| Highest ranking: #9 in protection ⚔️ #1 in A Court Of Thorns and Roses🌹 #7 in Sarah J Maas 🧝🏼‍♀️ || "What?" Rhys asked, frowning at Mor. She shrugged, "by the looks of it, your going to be a father soon." Darkness exploded through the room. Cutting out my vision, it seeped through the windows, blocking out any visible light. Calloused hands pressed down against my shoulders, holding me in place. Soothing talons scraped down my mental barriers, trying to pry them open. I could feel his presence through the dark, feel the warmth of his body as he stood in front of me. The darkness subsided to uncover the violet stare of Rhysand eyes gazing down at me. Talons scraped at my mental walls once more before he spoke down our bond, Is this true? I looked to my mate, "Yes." He receded a few steps, stumbling over his words, "how?" "Well, when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much-" "HOW?" He snapped, cutting me off. Sighing, I relaxed my wings, exhausted from today's events, and let them slide to the floor. "A witch put a spell on me," I muttered, unable to make eye contact, "one which I think changed the year I was living in." *** Feyre is the Hight Lady of the Night Court. Living out her life, she thought it was going to be a prefect happily ever after with her only struggles being breaking the news to her mate about her pregnancy. Little did she know the darkness looming within the background, waiting to strike. When a witch appears on her door step, the last thing she would of expected was to be cursed to another year, before she ever existed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a seperate novella spinoff of the acotar series.
