Ainsley Roberts is seventeen and living with her best friend, after being kicked out by her drug addicted mother. When she's taken down to an underground subway party by Keira, her free-spirited best friend, Ainsley realises that magic exists where she least expected it. Instead of dashing knights and wish-granting fairies, Ainsley meets dark witches and cruel kings. Revealing faeries to Ainsley could be deadly and Keira learns it the hard way especially when Unseelie King, Darian, takes an interest in Ainsley. Discovering a war that could determine the new world of Faerie, Keira and Ainsley both make a decision that could change th fate of humanity as they know it.
