My bear can't seriously be a live human!

This is a really weird story of mine.

Despite being a senior in high school, Brandon always had a stuffed bear to keep him company. He never usually put his stuffed bear next to him in his bed, but one night, that changed. He felt the sudden urge to have his bear lay next to him during the night. Could doing this change how he would wake up the next morning?

This story is inspired by the terrible logic of anime except the setting isn't Japan and the characters aren't Japanese. Though, the bear is because well...You'll see.
