While you're waiting for a chance at a Community Project, we here at Community Interactive like to branch out. Our origins are in contests and, at this point, we are in love with crafting and hosting these weekly bite-sized exercises. It is our passion and we are delighted to share it with you:
  
  Do you want to improve your writing skills? Do you want to take part in contests and test whether your pen is truly mightier than the sword? Do you just want to have fun and make friends?

Contained here are my submissions to complete the 12 Short Stories in 12 Months Challenge over at Deadlines For Writers (deadlinesforwriters.com). They generally fall under the urban fantasy genre and are shared here, as-is, without any editing, for posterity -- warts and all! This was my first year participating, and the first time I've ever written consistently and seriously over an extended period of time, so pardon the newbie mistakes. That said, I am grateful to Deadlines for Writers and its community, but most especially to Mia Botha, the site's creator and owner! I learned a lot over the past year, and look forward to applying those to all my further writing! Without further ado, here are my 12 Short Stories for 2020. Enjoy!

Here are short stories (really short ones) that I wrote years back. I won't say when I was younger, because it was only three/two years back. However some are very recent. Om Saraswati Namah..... A collection of short stories and fanfictions from prompts for various contests all around Wattpad. I reasoned that art can't be rushed, or I would surmise procrastination is natural. Until the day, all these stories had one thing in common, they were never written on time. You must've run fast, tried very hard to catch up, but you always miss things. Something so great, if you had only known it, only done it, only said it, on time. So here's to celebrating all the stories never on time. Trust me, long roads ahead lead to more glorious procrastinations.
