When four boys walk into the local movie theatre one Thursday night, Odeya Lockhart does not expect for them to have such a huge impact on her life.
Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford. Best friends since childhood, close as brothers. Eager to bring a new sister to their tight-knit family.
The eighteen-year-old boys each have a younger sibling as well. Kayla Irwin, six years old. Jude Hood, ten years old. Delilah "Lila" Hemmings, twelve years old. Benjamin "Ben" Clifford, eight years old.
Ashton and Kayla live alone. Their parents died in a car accident a couple months ago. They both go to school and come home, he helps her with her homework, they play together and he cooks them supper. Since he has to pay the bills, he works at a local hotel from 7 PM to 3 AM every single night. This is why he asks Odeya to babysit Kayla for him.
Both the Irwin's get along with Odeya splendidly. Kayla like a little sister, Ashton like a friend... But something more quickly develops, and it's not too long before Odeya and Ashton find themselves opening up to each other, and eventually sharing a bed.
