A cool gust breezes over your skin. Almost as crisp as a current from a powerful A/C unit but tinged with something that spiked the skin of your arms. You brushed your palms over your goosebumps. Considering the summer heat and the excessive amount of energy you had exerted unloading the truck and waddling up and down the halls, the frosty sensation wasn't completely unwelcomed.

In retrospect, you probably felt the words whispered against your ear more so than you heard them.

Oh! The MC has a name even though this is written in a y/n style. I like nicknames. I use nicknames. It had to be done. What I won't talk about is her ethnicity, skin color, hair color, texture, eye color, etc. Imagine your features however you please.

Speaking of names, "Ariana" has NO RELATION to Grande. I've loved that name since before she was born.
