It's 2024, four years after the deadly outbreak of COVID-19. The pandemic has wiped out almost half of the entire world population. Now all alone, a young girl is left to fend for herself. With no one in sight and nothing to protect her from the unsettling unknown that is all around her, will she find someone...something, anything, that can save her?

About the Author:
My name is Grace, this is my 1st book and it is sorta based off of what's happening right now. Because of the coronavirus, we have to practice social distancing/stay in quarantine. So I took this as an opportunity to make a story about the future and what could possibly happen if the pandemic keeps growing and causing more deaths. Enjoy! :)

This is a second view point from my original story - A Different Virus - Heartfire. I highly advise reading the original book first. Intro: Laura was a happy child without a care in the world. She loved her parents and life was perfect. Nothing seemed like it could go wrong. People started talking about a bad flu that was spreading and sending some into a coma. This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life. Note from future self: This story is extremely cringy and only gets worse as it goes on. When I was writing it there was a whole bunch of other stuff going on so I was rushing away too much to actually get it done. Content warning: Contains graphic descriptions and extreme violence.
