HELLEBORE BLUEMOON HAD BEEN FORSAKEN since she was merely two years old, never knowing what it was like to be embraced in a mother's arms, or to see the glint of pride in her father's eyes. She lived in a world of darkness and haunting touches for as long as she could remember, locked away like an animal. Maybe she was an animal, after all, humans don't bite.

Transferring to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had not been her decision, England was not her home, and lying was not her forte. Still, for the sake of those that dropped everything to save her, she did her best to remain as much under the radar as possible; but it's a difficult task when you appear after the holiday break, spend your time in the safety of various professors' classrooms, behave strangely, and never wear any shoes.

Odd and aloof is always bound to catch someone's attention, and when you've got the spotlight on you, questions are asked, and when people pry into your business, you've got to protect what's yours and yours alone.
