Cyrus is an elemental who from a young age was not treated fairly. He as any other elemental was tread unfairly. As his siblings weren't elementals he didn't talk too much about it except with his parents and his friend Lily, until he met Sasha.
Sasha is an elemental who doesn't have anyone to turn to. Society is not safe for an elemental and when you're the only one in your family it won't treat you fair. She meets Cyrus as a fate encounter, and everything will come to her as it must.
Society is messed up, but we are the ones that can fix it. Those were the last words Cyrus remembers hearing from his friend who was killed a year before meeting Sasha. How he takes those words will affect his being, his life and everyone close to him.

Every 100 years there's supposed to be a new one of us. But the newest one vanished when the world needed him most. Now people, are either fearful of us or hate us it sounds like.
