Vanessa Keyes used to be a normal six year old. She was happy, with her family. Until one night, the night on her seventh birthday, her mother and unborn sibling were killed, her father missing.

Now, seven years later, at age fourteen, Vanessa is being stalked by a man that appeared only from that night, seven years ago. She runs, trying to find her father, but is caught.

No living relatives now, Vanessa is forced to join the TSP--Teenage Spy Program--for the government. She learns that she has to be a part of a team (which doesnt sit for her very well.)

But when things become to hard for her, Vanessa escapes. Will the government and her new-found partners find her? Who will she run to? Why are they so focused on having her there?
