Weird things always happen around Glen Sellers. Like when she was nine and crossed the road without looking both ways. One second a truck barreling towards her, the next second she's safe and sound by the side of the road without a scratch on her. Another time when she was at a sleepover at her friend's house and woke up in her own bed. Tired of the stares and whispers, at fifteen, Glen moves to Aldenville, Iowa (aka the middle of nowhere), a tiny town with more cows than people and where no one has a clue who she is. Finally, these strange happenings that have always plagued Glen and separated her from the rest of the world have seemed to stop. Could she be so lucky? No. When a handsome stranger appears (literally?!) at her door and claims he knows what she is, Glen is swept into a world filled with magic, adventure and maybe a (little) romance.
