But he is not the only Chosen, and he will face many trials just to reach Auleruad. A war, assassins, corruption and renegade rebels are just a few trials in his journey.

At the same time in Jans, Shadowland; a young Shadian named Mareus fights with the ghosts of his past while trying to live a normal life. As if it weren't hard enough, an exchange student from Callotra brings disaster for Mareus. With a soul filled with sorrow and anger, Mareus soon finds himself cut off from the other students, who avoid him and his rage.
