December 24th, xxxx 23:30 "I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry." I mutter to myself. I glance past the edge of the couch I am hiding behind. I can't see anything. It's just black, a dark nothingness. It's so empty, I can feel myself being swallowed up by it. Then I see it, a sudden movement by the hallway. It is so small I almost missed it. There in the hall is a Jack-in-a-box. A child's toy. Harmless. I knew otherwise. I knew that if I wanted to survive the night, I would have to stay far away from the plaything.

Female reader! Completed! You loved Halloween with all of its spooks and scares until that dreadful Christmas Eve. You were nearly killed by creepy killer toys, but your sibling.... You became traumatized and began to live in fear for the rest of your life, but what happens when you meet the cause of your distress? (PSA: I wrote this in eighth grade. It sucks but for some reason, people keep enjoying this. Just a heads up.)
