Fiona ei Sonafi. Disgraced witch. Disowned by her family. Expelled from the esteemed Amorfixia University. Determined to clear her name and return home, she sells magical oddities on the streets of Cainsbour in a land across the sea. In Ibis, magic is scarce and mages live in subterranean villages. In her ignorance, Fiona invites the attention of a crafty governor. As she becomes entangled in the political games between the magickless ruling body and Ibis mages, she discovers the sickening truth of Ibic magic, and her own country's compliance in crippling the mages of the folkway.

Netis is a Princess, of the great kingdom of Idia. On the morning of her sixteenth birthday, lights begin to dance around her, and her head is wreathed in a crown of flames; signs of possessing maegia start to show. Arriway, a maegiling, is a servant to the Prophetess Ectilea. Netis' world is changed forever, when she meets with Arriway at her birthday ball. A powerful staff appears in her possession, and she must journey to the undersea kingdom of Netia, the domain of the god-king Nereus, to return it. There is a lot more at stake than she realises. If she fails, all of Idia is doomed. (I apologise for the poor writing quality, I did it in 2015, and my writing skills have improved since then!) THIS STORY HAS BEEN REWRITTEN AND EDITED, AND WILL BE PUBLISHED IN MARCH 2019. ONCE PUBLISHED, I WILL REMOVE THIS VERSION FROM WATTPAD. To clarify: Netis' name is pronounced 'Nee-tiss' with a long 'e' sound, not 'Nett-iss' [cover is official cover, done by Sessie on Deviant Art]
