Gumball does NOT want to fall in love, no matter how hard anyone tries. He keeps his grade up and is smart, book smart that is. Marshall Lee on the other hand is a player and can make a girl cave. His work rests with his band and he has street smarts. One day Gumball has a change of heart, or so everyone thinks. Gumball denies everything no matter how hard they to try to get it out of him. All of the teasing and goofing around would look like something someone would normally do but to Marshall it means so much more.
