Can you keep a secret?

After the death of her father, Tessa and her mother move to a new city to live with her mother's new boyfriend.

Tessa doesn't feel at home and is being bullied at school, but then she meets Hardin, the bad boy from school. He isn't good for Tessa but he makes her feel alive again.

Both are struggling with their past, which makes their relationship difficult.
Will they figure it out together? And what if it turns out that the two of them are more than just lovers?
