That was the promise I made with my childhood friend. But I know I can't find him anyway,because I forgot his name and I can't find the photos he and I have taken together(since I wrote our names on the back of the photos).
My name is Ashley. I'm 16,and I'm gonna go to university today. I hope I'll find a boyfriend, but I don't think I will, since boys like to bully me since young. Well... Except "him". In class, I found that the boy that sits beside me actually doesn't bully me and act violent against me... Maybe not all boys are bad...

I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing. Jace Summers is someone who is always true to himself no matter what anyone else thinks of him, and he's proud of who he is. He has pastel pink hair, stunning deep brown eyes, and a sweet and silky voice that makes all of the girls swoon. Too bad he's gay though. He has been out since seventh grade and is thankful he has never gotten hate for it, not that it would have bothered him anyway. Alec Walker is someone who everyone knows and likes, though he doesn't consider himself to be one of the popular kids. He has brown hair, hazel eyes with the perfect mix of brown and green, and his side profile could make angels swoon. Neither of those two boys seem very different from each other, both are kind, well-liked, and very handsome. Even if they aren't friends, you wouldn't expect them to dislike each other. Well, sadly that is incorrect. Ever since they can remember, they have each hated each other with a burning passion. Jace thinks Alec is a jackass know-it-all, and Alec thinks Jace is annoying and throws his personality in everyone's faces. Those seem like very small or petty things that they could easily overcome by having a conversation, but both are too stubborn for that. It is a mutual hate that neither will give up. Every morning i wake up dreading the day ahead. You wanna know why? It's because of the bullies. Listen, i didn't want them to know I'm gay, and i don't know how they found out. But now it's a new year, and I'm hoping they've forgotten. My new class is a 8-9 class, and there's this kid I've never seen before, and he's kinda cute. But, he's straight, right? And now I'm juggling friends, a crush, school and a bully, who just so happens to want me dead.

They go around just bullying everybody and anybody who makes them mad. What is worse is when a person is targeted at the school the whole school bully's them as well. He says, patting my arm as he stuffed another cracker in his mouth. "It takes some real balls to come out to someone." He says, his beautiful green eyes blazing into mine. I felt myself become flustered at his gaze. "Uh, Yeah, Thanks." I stumbled out, "You're not mad?" I ask. His expression turns to hurt as he crinkles his eyebrows. "Why the hell would I be mad?" He asks, hesitating on the crackers and pushing them away. "I just thought-it's just- well... you just always seem so pissed when someone mentions the word gay." I spit out words, scared for his reaction. He sighs, "That doesn't fucking mean I hate gays. Normally when I do that it's because someone's using the word 'gay' to hate on them, it just pisses me off, you know?" He asks, bringing the crackers back into his lap and biting into them. "Plus-" He adds on, "You're my best friend, if anything, you being gay is a blessing. I'll always support you." He says, glancing at me through the side of his eyes. I look away, towards the door to hide the crimson blush that I feel spread over my face. "Thanks." I all but squeak out.
