In a world of Monsters vs Hunters, Kill or be killed, hunt or be hunted. Kenelm stands in the ruins of a town, ashes blanketing the ground and collapsed building scattered around. There are others there too. Three others. And none of them remember what happened.

They tell them not to remember. They tell them that its better they forget the months of memories they're missing, claiming its for the better. Elm is told that they tell him this because it's to protect him.
