Sami the gerbil was loved by many, but none more than her owner Sadie. As Sami grows old and eventually leaves the land of the living to join the afterlife, she is surprised by what she finds.

There is a large pond surrounded by beautiful land and exotic trees. The air smells fresh, the grass is green. Sami had never experienced anywhere like it. However, she soon finds out she can't stay, for this is the land of Proud Pond. Because of a mission nearly three years ago, Sami's owner's pets get a special place to live, called Larani.

Join Sami as she learns about powers she never knew she had, meets former pets of Sadie's, and tries to tear down peace that's stayed intact for decades.
