Graveyard Cinders

A/N: This is in the format of a screenplay. I started writing this as an experiment, to see how my friends wrote their stories. I fell in love with it. Sooo Here is Graveyard Cinders

Set 350 years into the future, many things have changed. But only the Elders know the tales of how things used to be. The Fall of Humanity caused much of the issues seen today, but also many of the civilizations.

Desra lives in one of the southern portions of what was once Europe. She is 19 and struggling to keep her younger siblings well fed and in school.

Tova moved in barely a month before and began working in the same shop as Desra. He never had a reason to, but he seems to naturally look to Desra to make sure she is doing alright. He tries his best to help her reach her goal, but she seems dead set on doing it herself.

When a change falls upon the small town they live in, things begin to change. Desra is driven with the desire to find her parents, and find out why her mother dumped them at Grandma and Grandpa's, and forced the three kids father to never return.

Desra embarks on a quest to find her mother after she entrusts the safety of her siblings in the care of the towns Grandma and Grandpa. Tova follows after her with Rush, Desra's brother, worried for her safety. Along the way, situations pan out in unexpected ways that leads to a finale neither Tova nor Desra wants.
