Rita becomes strict with her eating, everyday the number of calories she eats gets lower and the amount of time she does cardio gets higher. She practices of managing her starvation by distracting it and never catches a break on the scale. Nobody is aware of it, it was something Rita doesn't want her friends or family to know, hiding her body from them didn't last long. Her mother noticed the dramatic weight change on her body. She tries to help her get back to her eating and tells her many times that she's "perfectly skinny" but nothing works. Her mother puts her foot down as Rita started to get ill, her mom takes her to a mental health hospital. She deals with consequences from her nurses and other patients.

"I can't understand the chaos within me," She whispers finally letting the tears roll down, crumbled in her room, curled up in a ball, gasping for breath as she tries to hold herself, as she begs her heart to stop hurting so much. A collection of prose and poetry. ♡

This is a place for me to put all the things I wish I said but I just couldn't. These are a way for me to "say" these things without actually saying them to the person I want to. I probably won't ever go back or read any of these because it's like revisiting a bad memory so don't expect much in terms of editing. Also I wouldn't consider this poetry but it is laid out that way. WARNING Talk of depression, suicide, anxiety, and self harm. Don't read if you don't like things like that and may get triggered. 2 teens, 2 separate lives, and 2 words linking them together without them even realizing. Each chapter will be electronic messages of anonymous teenagers, one boy and one girl, and will share dark themes and a ton of realistic mentionings of mental health disorders. The anonymous girl will figure out who the boy is and the messages get deeper as the two connect through their battles. Both teens will fight the battle 30 million people of all ages and gender battle in the U.S. ALONE. STORY MEANT TO RAISE AWARENESS IN MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS, NOT TO GLORIFY THESE ISSUES. I have had many family and friends go through mental health issues and I want to help raise awareness of how it feels to be trapped in your own body. Thanks! CONTENT WARNING.
