I thought it might be interesting to have a writing prompt inspired by a dream I had recently... The Dream: The generative "I" personified in the dream was part of a family that was protected by an unknown outside force. That is to say, we had good "luck" and anything that attempted to harm us in anyway (including accidents) was turned aside, as forcibly as need be. However, any loved ones that were outside this circle were often met by slow, crippling illness, or some other form of gruesome demise. It was surmised by the family that perhaps their protection came from a wicked source and they took the necessary steps to call it forth and exorcise it. The creature pleaded all the while with tear-stained eyes asking, "How could they? It's done nothing, but protect them." In it's last moments, it merely asked "Why?" and vanished. Its sorrow was palpable. Shortly thereafter, a creature, which may or may not have been a possessed family member appeared behind us and in a deep basso thanked us for ridding them of "that nuisance." It proclaimed itself as "Exodus" and the real reason the outsiders had perished. The Challenge: Write what comes next.

The idea I created that spawned this book idea: Story idea: FGOD Book centered around "Wounds Heal, Scars Fade" with some sort of fun naming scheme. The plot is that finally some dumb dumb checks Error's soul, and the truth is revealed. But things aren't so simple. This FGOD Error is hated by everyone and tormented by everyone, so he doesn't have Geno, Fresh, Blue, or the bad Sanses. Cause they all are either hateful, spiteful, or neutral towards him. So as the Sanses try to heal Error's wounds, his scars rear their ugly heads. You can decide if he jumps anyways despite being understood and taken care of, and how many times/how many multiverses he jumps through before finding a place where his scars begin to fade. (This place is up to you, but the only requirement is it has to be reasonably/functionally different from the main world he came from. So all the other Sanses have to look drastically different, or behave differently enough that the looks don't matter.) You are free to harness that idea for yourself if you like, just credit me. (If it is not obvious, this will be an angsty book, and my storyline for Error's journey will be different than yours.)
