Rise of Japan

Japan didn't have an easy childhood, but then again, what country ever did? She thought she hated her mother for neglecting her, but when world war 2 ends with the surrender of Japanese empire, her mother falls into a deep coma.

The great empire fought her last battle but what is Japan going to do now?

It may be a countryhumans story but I won't actually put a ship in here, just hint at some.
