Liam Dunbar. The bad kid. He's different. He's the star of the Beacon Hills' Lacrosse team, he's surprisingly smart, but never shows it, and he has a secret, he's a werewolf- along with about half the school. When Liam's next in line for the alpha position and finds his mate, a human, how will he deal?

Alex Fulley. The smart, sarcastic girl who sits in the back of the class. She rarely gets into trouble and hates when people are rude to her. She strongly dislikes people who think that they're better than everybody else. She's a genius, she's opinionated, and she doesn't have any time for bullshit. 

The two used to be best friends, practically inseparable until Liam destroyed their friendship during sophomore year, when he was first transitioning into his alpha wolf and was unable to control his actions. He can't tell Alex, though, because she's just a human. So when he find out that she's his mate what will he do? Will he try to fix their broken friendship or completely ignore the mating process?

What happens when Liam wants, even needs, the one girl who doesn't want anything to do with him?
