This parasitic creature was feeding off the pain from Humans, which was also granting the Soul Reapers to gain more abilities. It is not supposed to be there and neither are these Human attributes. But in this Universe, the Entity was only responsible for the pain. The Soul Reapers were gaining power with not even a hint of remorse. And when it found out that it was discovered, Danny's parents were killed by the Soul Reapers to keep quiet about the Entity's existence! Later after that, Danny and SCP-999 became famous after defeating the Scarlet King. But Danny sacrificed himself to save the Multiverse! And now, the Soul Reapers are up to no good again...but there was a prophecy saying that a Halfa will stop the Soul Reapers once and for all! And Danny Phantom will return to save the Multiverse!

After defeating the prior Ghost King, every entity in the Ghost Realm was preparing for his coronation. The day his body turns eighteen years old, he will be the Ghost King. However, they cannot have a halfling as their king, so the only viable option is to kill his human half. Thankfully that has already been written into the coronation process. They just need to collect the ingredients for the potion. Danny Phantom would rather not be king, but he doesn't get a say in the matter. - The title is from the song Dark on Me from Starset. I just thought it was kind of cool. I started writing this a while ago, and I have a few parts already written, but I am going to hold off on posting them because I have a habit of procrastination, so maybe waiting to post for a few days or so will help me actually update it.
