Once Upon a Time... (on hold)

Once upon a time, there was a boy. Boy's name is Donnie. Boy meets girl. Girl's name is Natalie. Boy's world get turned upside down. He is blinded by his love for her. She is sweet, caring, beautiful, just perfect. Friends, are they? Yes, they are. But he wants more, so much more...

Donnie is part of the Unrequited Love Committee. He says join. It sucks, but then again, what doesn't? He is dirt poor, living with his little, five year old sister, Kaylee. She is the pride and joy of his life. For a five year old, she is extremely smart. They live with their mother in a rundown little hut. Shh, don't tell anyone. It's a secret. He feels ashamed.

As for Natalie, gorgeous, popular Natalie, she has it all. A perfect woman, as Donnie puts it. But she is a little naive. She doesn't know that every boy in school is practically in love with her. But enough of that. Let's get to the plot.

Donnie and his mother work night and day to just put food on the table, and sometimes not even that happens. Every morsel of food is cherished in their house (if they can even call it that.) But Donnie has a secret. He hasn't told anyone, for fear of no support and humiliation. What he's hiding really is nothing to be ashamed of. And Natalie makes sure he knows that.

An opportunity rises at the time it is most needed. But Donnie's mother refuses to take it. Donnie is responsible and his mother believes him. Then he is left to fend for Kaylee and himself alone.

But when trouble comes knocking at Donnie's door (that's almost falling off it's hinges), and the Feds are involved, will Donnie have to pluck up his courage and seek help? He only knows one place to get it. His father.
