From Beyond Hallownest

What lies beyond the Hollowing Cliffs of Hallownest?

Many traveled from there but what was unable to recall how, or where, they travel. The king of Hallownest, The Pale King, wonder many things beyond the hidden lands yet left it be for his kingdom and the reputation he holds is what matters him the most.

While the mystery of the lands beyond stayed dormant for now, a much greater issue was plaguing the kingdom. Only known as the Infection by the residents of Hallownest, a solution was made to combat it. A solution that normally creates outrage.

The solution that was made was that the Pale King, the remorse, kind, and understanding ruler of Hallownest would sacrifice one of his own children to contain the infection and its source. No cost too great, surely it was worth it, right?

However, One did oppose this method.

There aren't a lot Hollow Knight fan stories out there, which is unfortunate because it's really is a very good game. Other than the stories @InkScarlet1996, there really isn't much to read about this game that can change and alter since the lore is blurry to the point of no return. So, here we are.
