Our story starts on one of the most important days of a persons life. The day they turn eighteen, the day they get to contact their soulmate. There are a few different ways that it can happen, but it usually depends on how your parents found each other.

In this case it's with writing. Writing is a magical thing that can connect people from all over the world. Some of the greatest love stories wouldn't have happened without it. (Not to mention the friends you can have on the other side of the world.)

This girl didn't want to make friends with people on the other side of the world though. She just wanted her soulmate, and on her eighteenth birthday, that's what she got.

20 parts Complete

Everyone is born with a soulmate; it's commonly accepted in today's society. Everyone's world is seen in only black and white until they touch their soulmate. Once you have physically touched your soulmate, you can suddenly see in color. What happens when Dare, a high school senior, accidentally touches the artsy, irresponsible, reckless girl at school, and his vision is thrown into color, but hers isn't? Can the two polar opposites really be soulmates, or is there some flaw in the system?
