The war had ended and Harry potter and his classmates that survived the war had gone back to Hogwarts for another year. Hogwarts had to be rebuilt, because of all of the damage that had occurred during the war. So they have been given an extra year for those who would like to stay.
After the war, Harry, Ron and Hermione went back to Hogwarts for another year, there were only a couple of them who had wanted to go back, because of how much people had died last year. So they joined up with the year just below them, who were also on their last year of Hogwarts.
Harry was having a tough time with work, he had lot's of stuff going through his mind and this stopped him from paying full attention in his classes. Professor Mcgonegall (the new headmaster) decided to have someone tutor him, However, he was surprised when he found out who it was and what was going to happen between them.

The golden trio are hanging out in the library, studying for their finals that were yet to come. It was the year after the war, 8th year to be exact. Draco comes up to them and starts talking to them. The golden trio are very confused, Harry flirts, Hermione talks and Ronald, of course, gets pissy and leaves, they end up studying together and secretly hanging out a lot more in other places, mostly the room of requirements which some how fixed itself since the big fire.
