Angel's PI of the Unusual

After suffering a gunshot wound in the line of duty, Chance Cooper, a committed police officer with a strong sense of justice moves his family back to his hometown. Just as he begins contemplating finding a new job to ease the stress on his family, he gets unceremoniously targeted by a job offer. A strange little man, who seems as loony as he is lazy, tries to recruit him into the new private investigation office for the paranormal he plans to open. Reluctant and suspicious, he agrees to try it out and gets caught up in a series of mysterious local animal disappearances. As he works with his strange new partner, he soon discovers there's more to the eccentric Mr. Wood than he thought.
